Your Responsibilities as a Project Manager – Stormwater Compliance Services:

Hands-on management and execution of varied industrial, construction, and municipal stormwater and related environmental compliance assignments for public and private sector clients, including stormwater BMP installation, maintenance, and repair contracts, with accountability for project quality, safety, and adherence to schedules and budgets.
About 70% office / 30% field duties. Field assignments will be mostly, but not exclusively, in Southern California.
Office duties include, but are not limited to: preparing detailed, insightful proposals, cost estimates, work/sampling/safety plans; timely work-performed reports; managing and monitoring project budget, schedule, and adherence to scope; proactive identification of problems/concerns requiring discussion with client or regulator; prompt, accurate project billing; tracking and following up on accounts receivable; SMARTS data management; annual reports; drafting and revising SWPPP and SPCC Plans; and, preparing Level 1 and Level 2 ERA reports.
Field duties include but are not limited to: scoping meetings; site reconnaissance; client and regulator meetings; Construction and Industrial SWPPP/SPCC/BMP inspections; storm event sampling; BMP installation, inspection, and repair; SWPPP/SPCC/BMP training; oversight of subcontractors and field staff.
Develop and sustain strong client relationships through effective and proactive communication and record of meeting all project schedules, scopes, quality, and budgets.
Collaborate with diverse managers, engineers, stormwater professionals, field/construction personnel and others across Apex.
What we're looking for:

BA/BS degree
Current QSP and QISP Certification.
Experience performing QSP/QISP responsibilities for variety of private- and public-sector clients. QSD preferred.
Stormwater compliance experience for industrial/commercial facilities, construction projects, and municipal agencies and ports.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively multi-task, and mentor junior staff.
Strong understanding of Federal, state, and local stormwater regulations and programs, including, but not limited to: Site-Specific and General NPDES Permits; MS4 Programs; BMP guidance, installation, and maintenance; TMDLs; sampling procedures and analytical data analysis.
Interest and personal commitment to sustained success and growth of stormwater and related services throughout California.

Compensation: $80-90k
